Fashion Fundamentals: Difference between a Tank Top, Camisole & Spaghetti
Have you been confused between a camisole, spaghetti and a tank top? Well, here’s a guide to help you understand the difference. Steal some styling tips and pair the right garment with the right outfit.
Camisoles
Camisoles are wardrobe staples. They are usually worn as an innerwear, underneath sheer tops or deep necks. They have noodle straps and are often crafted with stretchable fabrics like Lycra, cotton spandex or nylon. However, a few could be crafted with satin, which are often used as sleepwear. Some camisoles are also available with inbuilt cups, which allow you to ditch your bra for a day!
Spaghetti Tops
Spaghetti tops are a fancier version of camisoles. They are pretty enough to be worn as outerwear. Spaghetti tops can be paired with denim, shorts or even skirts and are mainly characterized by the dainty noodle straps. Spaghetti tops are ideal for layering; you can create a magnitude of looks by teaming them up with shrugs, jackets or blazers.
Tank Tops
Tank tops are sleeveless tops with racerbacks. They could be waist length or cropped. Versatile in nature, they can be worn as sportswear, innerwear or outerwear depending on the design and fabric.
Now that you can distinguish between all three of them, you can experiment fashion without making any blunders!
