Asian Games: India crosses historic 100-level mark
At the ongoing 19th Asian Games, our athletes have made the nation proud by touching the 100 medal mark for the very first time. On Saturday, the women’s kabaddi team defeated Chinese Taipei and secured gold, taking the total tally of medals to a 100. India is currently at fourth place with 25 gold, 35 silver and 40 bronze. There’s a feeling of immense pride among the nation with congratulations pouring in from all sides. In his post on X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a momentous win for India and extended heartfelt congrats. The games are set to end on 8th October and the medal tally is surely expected to rise up.
