Is 2024 A Leap Year?
Yes, indeed 2024 is a leap year. This means this year we will have 366 days instead of 365. An extra day is added to the shortest month of the year, February, making it 29 days in total. To determine which would fall as a leap year had been a rigorous task. Finally, as per the Gregorian calendar, the years ending with 00 that were divisible by 400 were considered to be leap years. That is why 1900 was not a leap year but 2000 was.
