India wins big at Grammy Awards
The 66th Grammy Awards took place on 4th February. Zakir Hussain, the tabla maestro made history by winning three trophys in one night. His contribution to ‘Pashto’ won the grammy for the Best Global Music Performance. Shankar Mahadevan & Hussain’s fusion band ‘Shakti’ bagged the award for the Best Global Music Album. Rakesh Chaurasia also won two awards for Global Music Performance & Contemporary Instrumental Album.
