Good News for Thread Users
This 14th November, Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced that Thread users will be able to delete their account without deleting their Instagram account. To do so, Thread users have to visit the settings tab on the app and select the “Delete” or “Deactivate account” options.
While Instagram permits users to delete their account to log in to Thread they still have to use their Instagram account.
