Why Did Poonam Pandey Fake Her Death?

It all started with the official declaration of the HPV vaccine by Nirmala Sitharaman in the 2024-25 budget. The Indian government intends to vaccinate girls aged 9-14 to prevent them from HPV. As soon as the news came, Poonam Pandey’s PR team saw a golden opportunity to be in the news again. They pulled off the stunt of Poonam Pandey’s death due to cervical cancer. They say they intended to spread awareness, but little did they know that it would create chaos in the media.
Indeed, Poonam Pandey has garnered the attention of people, but the attention has turned into criticism now. Considering the severity of the disease, pulling off a death stunt seems very reckless. There could have been better ways to spread awareness.
