Bengaluru Becomes A Pink City
During mid-January Bengaluru undergoes a captivating transformation and becomes a pink paradise. Imagine driving along streets adorned with pink blooms or taking a walk in parks surrounded by dreamy pink flowers. Bengaluru becomes a pinterest worthy place December to March. Don’t get confused with cherry blossoms, Bengaluru’s enchanting pink landscape is attributed to two tree species: Tabebuia avellanedae and Tabebuia rosea. These pink trumpet trees, originating from South America, were introduced to Bengaluru by British colonists.
